SIA National Health & Safety Conference: In Practice

SIA National Safety Conference: In Practice

  • What workplace barriers are you up against as an OHS Professional or Practitioner?
  • How do you connect to with others at differing levels of practice or discipline?
  • How do we as a profession understand and/or communicate safety from the perspectives of others, while managing to translate knowledge into practice?

The 2018 SIA National Safety Conference will break down industry barriers and look at how safety can be understood, communicated and implemented across a range of industries and disciplines.

The program in development, is currently acquiring some of the best national and international speakers to explore the theme of In Practice

Thought leaders will explore the concept of a shared language and the difficulties that arise in communicating and translating technical knowledge into practice, while bringing together professionals of differing disciplines.

The 2018 SIA National Safety Conference will bring together stakeholders across the health and safety profession,  to discuss some of the challenges currently faced by WHS professionals and practitioners and explore the impacts these have on the OHS profession, as well as new ideas, innovation, research and leadership.

The convention is a two day conference program bookended by a series of partnered and co-presented events which  include the conference dinner and a CEO breakfast.
